New Members

Welcome Potential New Member!

Non-Christians

If you are not a Christian, but you are interested in becoming a Christian, or if you just want to learn more about the Christian Faith, please contact our parish offices. People who are interested in becoming Christians are invited to go through the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA), a series of classes and spiritual formation sessions that teach what Christianity and Catholicism are all about.

Christian Non-Catholics

If you are a Christian who is considering taking the final step in your journey “home,” we would like to congratulate you on having the courage to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit toward the fullness of truth. Please contact our parish offices about attending a series of catechetical classes to learn more about the Catholic Faith. Father Stoetzel can then guide you the rest of the way into the Catholic Church. Welcome home!

Catholics New to St. John the Baptist

We welcome any Catholic who is looking for a parish home. St. John the Baptist has a lot to offer any Catholic. The recently restored sanctuary offers an atmosphere of reverence and beauty to lift your mind and heart to Heaven. The parish community is increasingly active in reaching out to the world with the Gospel, and there is plenty of room for you to be involved in the mission of the Church at St. John’s parish. You may find our parishoners a bit “German” at times, but we are warm, loving, and very supportive people who are seeking holiness together. We would be glad to welcome you into our parish community. Please contact the parish office and talk with Lucy Lang or Father Stoetzel to register. Welcome!
